Why would you not make any adjustments if it is
pulling weak? Try a open air filter like a UNI POD
filter. You need more air. You may not even have
to rejet, but if the filter gets it too lean, try
a 150, 155, or even 160 main jet in that order.
Does it idle well? If the midrange is weak, you
may need to even lower the needle or raise it
depending on how it runs. Tuning carberateurs is
really trial and error and a little bit of instinct.
My guess is at 8,000 feet, just simply clamping on
a UNI filter would do the trick.
